These two off-leash dog parks serve their communities well, but would also be a good resource for dog owners traveling between Columbus and Cleveland. Portland has 32 off-leash dog parks (including 5 fenced ones) and Portland Parks & Recreation’s website provides a useful list of them, along with descriptions and a map. (Please note that dogs are welcome in most Portland parks, but they need to be on a leash.… Read the rest
Chloe and I went to the Golden Gardens off-leash dog area in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood this morning, and we can report that it includes an area for small dogs — always a cause for celebration — and is in a lovely wooded location.… Read the rest
This dog park, in Seattle’s Columbia City neighborhood, is significantly smaller than Magnuson Park‘s off-leash area, but it’s still a good size.
