Friday Harbor, WA pet store
Friday Harbor has a great pet store, called Friday Harbor Pet Supplies. It’s packed with all the high-end, healthy dog food, treats, toys, chews and grooming supplies you could wish for, and the owner (Annie Hutton) is a delight. Open Tues. to Fri. 10 am to 6 pm; Sat. 10 am to 5 pm.

Sounds like a great place to check out. For my 2 dogs you can never have enough chew toys. Can you recommend any that a labrador can’t chew apart?
I had to consult my neighbor, who has a Bull Mastiff and a Lab, to answer this one. Here’s what she said: “There is virtually nothing that a lab can’t destroy. That said, kongs are often good choices. Provided there are no humans in the household with peanut allergies, peanut butter can be wiped throughout the inside of the kong. This will provide the pup hours of chewing/licking pleasure! I often also get raw femur bones from the butcher. They can’t destroy these, they can spend hours chewing them, and the bones are great for their teeth!”
