This dog park, in Seattle’s Columbia City neighborhood, is significantly smaller than Magnuson Park‘s off-leash area, but it’s still a good size. This useful page from the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation site lists all of the Parks Departments’ dog-friendly areas in NYC. Scroll down and click on the name of the borough you’re investigating. The site doesn’t provide a lot of information about each location, but there’s enough to know, at least, whether the listing is a dog run or an off-leash area (which in this case means that dogs may be off leash but must be under voice control).… Read the rest

The Eddie & Friends Dog Park on San Juan Island occupies two acres next to Browne’s Home Center on Mullis Avenue (and is named after the Brownes’ dog Eddie). The turn is easy to miss (if you get to the fire station, you’ve gone too far), but leads to generous off-street parking.… Read the rest
