Another good pet store in central Paris: Moustaches

What else would a dog travel blogger do on her first full day in Paris but drag her husband (and her dog, but Chloe hardly needed dragging) to pet stores? Vancouver, B.C. dog-friendly hotel: L’Hermitage Hotel

As I mentioned last week, Chloe and I stayed at L’Hermitage Hotel on our recent trip to Vancouver, B.C. We could have stayed at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, located just across the street from the conference we were attending — how easy it would have been, and the views! Dear heaven, the views! BHV La Niche: Good pet store in central Paris

BHV (short for “Bazaar Hôtel de Ville”) is a great department store in central Paris. I love it because it has a little bit of everything, which is old-fashioned and charming and useful. My favorite sight? DIY folks emerging from the basement home reno section clutching lengths of lumber and PVC pipe, negotiating their way around the fashionistas on the ground floor.
