Small but well-stocked: I Love My Cleps pet store in Paris’s 9th arrondissement

My thanks to reader Joan for this recommendation — she saw my recent post about Moustaches and BHV La Niche, two major pet stores in Paris’s Marais neighborhood, and mentioned that she’d found a good pet store near her Montmartre apartment last year. Off we went to check it out, and I was delighted with what we found.

Traveling with a pet dog between the U.S. and Canada: The fine print

Last May, the Take Paws team wrote a really useful post about the requirements for taking your dog (and yourself!) from the United States to Canada, which saves me all kinds of work. Good dog treats that pack well

It occurred to me this morning, as I was looking through Chloe’s pantry for treats that would work well on a walk, that we have a wide variety of treats but only some of them pack well. Chloe loves Etta Says! meaty treats, PureBites freeze-dried treats and Stella & Chewy’s Carnivore Crunch treats, for example, but none of them breaks into smaller pieces well (they crumble instead) — and for the same reason, they don’t travel well.  … Read more
